Who are we:

We attend and serve our local Church of the Nazarene and are members of the ‘Baby Boomer’ generation.

As one of the early birth members of this generation, Dan was surprised and blessed with early retirement from a career in Information Technology (2003).  During most of his adult life he has been involved in Teen Bible Quiz ministry.  He currently serves as a resource with the Nazarene Youth International (NYI) Global office, promoting the ministry of Bible Quizzing for teens and young adults around the world. Dan also has become active in the Nazarene Global Mission IT team.

Janet has had a career in bookkeeping and office administration.  She retired in 2011 after 8 years serving as the accounting manager for Joy FM, a Contemporary Christian Music radio station. Their blended family includes 6 adult children, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchild, so far...

In retirement we volunteer, serving for varying periods where ever needed, working with and training local workers and church leaders in the talents and life skills we have been blessed with.  Our greatest fulfillment and joy comes by being useful while living and serving in diverse cultures, experiencing the rich friendship of God's people and seeing His hand at work in all situations.

This is how we have come to follow "God's Retirement Plan":
God's Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go! This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?"
